Description

NGC 2403 (also known as Caldwell 7) is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Camelopardalis.

It bears  similarities to M33, being about 50,000 light years in diameter and containing numerous star-forming HII regions  like NGC 2404 which is located in the northern spiral arm. With 940 light-years in diameter,  it is one of the largest known H II regions and it represents striking similarity with NGC 604 in M33, both in size and location in galaxy.
However NGC 2403 is an outlying member of the M81 group and is approximately 10 million light-years distant, while M33 is from our local group about 2.5 millions light-year away.

There are many far galaxies in the background.

This is a drizzled crop cause this cute one is quite small for my setup.

Very happy to make this first picture from my backyard since december due to very bad weather!
